So...due to health reasons...the juicing thing was a bust.  I go in for surgery to get my gallbladder removed on Monday (talk about April Fools! eh).  I will have to come back to that and try it a newer and healthier me.  One night last week I had a mango juice...not long sick...and I just can't bring myself to juice anything now.  I've been eating unseasoned rice and some occasional fruit.  I sneak nutritional yeast and turmeric into rice for extra vitamin B's and health benefits cause some days its only rice I can get down.  Here is to hoping I can stay out of the hospital untill then...and for a healthier me on the other side! I've been reading some people can't do fried foods, greasy foods, or spicey foods! I'm ok with cutting out the first too...but spicey? Nuuuuu! Anyway I hope everyone is having a better Easter then I am...I'm seeing if I can atleast have something with no sauses like vegetarian know...something that actually tastes like a meal. If you are reading this eat some black jellybeans for me! :)

I didn't get a chance to grab a picture of the breakfast juice I had. Nor the lunch one that I tried this evening but I found this one great tasting too.  The hubby was indulging in something amazing and I wasn't even tempted. I'd rather feel better, and keep all my organs intact in the process. I am however getting terrible headaches and I can only chock it up to I'm an avid coffee drinker. I'm not having any coffee now, I did make one cup of green tea to ease this as I'm finding it really hard to stay asleep with it.  And that is on pain meds for the gallstone.

Anyway onto the lunch juice.  This one was called Mean Green
and its ingredients were:
1 Granny Smith Apple
1 Cucumber
4 Stalks of Celery
4-6 Kale leaves
1/4 Lemon peeled
1 Ginger (again I think I used 1 to 2 tsp worth)

I like this one a lot, as I see that sweet juices are gonna get old after a while. I'm noticing right away you don't feel all that hungry. I thought for sure I was going to be sulky by the first day but I'm pretty satisfied.
Day one,
I woke up late and kind of expected to.  But I had a breakfast juice anyway.  Before my gallstone problem I had planned to make blueberry pancakes this weekend.  It just so happens the first one I want to try has blueberries in it.  So I feel alittle better :)

it was called Morning Glory
and it had
2 apples
1 cucumber
1 cup of blueberries
2 cups of grapes
1 ginger ( now I'm not sure if it meant a whole root or a small piece. I just went with about a tsp or two)
I was supposed to add Kale to this one...2 leaves but I forgot. I'll remember next time

This recipe I found on

but can I just say...yum! I loved it. I don't mind the taste of Kale either so I'm sure I will like it how it was intended too. I divide the recipe into 2 portions and have the second one later. I'm not sure if its the pain or if its really filling. I'll take a picture later when I have my second portion.

Soo, with a few health issues...I decided - well that and I kind of have to - I'm juicing for a while.  I was curious about them.  In the old days of gall bladder issues my mom told me they would make you live off of broth and jello. Yuck...Jello.  I'm doing this with an online meal planner, I didn't purchase any expensive system...cause well...they are expensive.   I thought it would be interesting to blog my experience and maybe keep some of my favorite recipes for snacks and meals on the run.  If anyone reading this has some awesome recipes feel free to share.  I technically won't count today because I'm so tired I've had only one juice which was actually yummy and I could actually get that god aweful spirilina down. Horray to pinapple and peaches! The first 3 days I'm staying clear of most spices, if I feel better I can't wait to get creative with some.  Along with helping said problem, I was reading juicing can take away cravings for processed food, which would also be awesome.

-grasps her shotgun-

Its quiet. Things have been pouring from my brain onto my sketch book, I blame a curtain book and constant mood I'm in. You know that mood. Like you could snap at someone...dig out their eyes with a spork and serve them up in there tea of coffee of choice. "Would you like one lump or too, kind sir?"
Pride and Prejudice and Jane Austen and Seth Grame-Smith

Once my recent drawing is done I'll toss up a scan. I'll get all squinty eyed and try to buckle down on it tomorrow. And then finishing this deliciously bastardized American classic where hopefully more drawing happenings...will well...happen.

Can't wait till tomorrow....yeah!

Haven't posted in forever, and I feel really bad. Excuses be damned I'm back and can't wait for tomorrow. My cousin is getting hitched. This will be our second wedding we've attended this year. I'm charging up my camera, and I'll post a couple of pictures and a link to my facebook if I can ever figure that damn thing out.

Anyway, I have to type about taste in clothes suffers a massive case of schizophrenia. And here is my problem. I try to clean up, but my eye always gravitates to the alternative style. Chunky New Rock boots, such a comfortable break from heels. And if anything shines it had better come from pyrimid studs and they had better be silver. I know they've been pulled into mainstream along with striped stockings, skulls, and Eeyore and the Nightmare before Christmas, but it doesn't mean I stop loving them.

Now this brings me to something else...sandals...and I'm sorry if I'm being segmented and random. I pick up a few pairs and I always regret it. I can't stand them...But these....

To me these just don't scream hemp skirt like many sandals I've half heartedly purchaced...and for that...I am forever grateful. Maybe these or something like it can make it to my closet. -shudders- Hemp skirt Itchy itchy itchy.

In the mean time I'll love my peep toes for keeping most of my feet covered living minimum proof that I do in fact have toes. And when spring like weather actually rolls around I'll angrily beat the hell out of my turquoise laden hippy foot traps.

No Migraines! Occasionally I get dry mouth...(what am I 80?) and I get a mild tingling in my fingers and toes...and bouts of stupidity...but I've been sick for a couple of weeks. If coughing my lungs out and having a stuffy nose isn't doing it then maybe the cough syrup with codeine is...I'm feeling alot better now though...You know that bitter feeling when you tell someone that you don't feel good and they tell you its been going around the office and it'll only last a few days? Yeah...I catch a tiny cold and it blows up into a plague. But enough of that. :) As far as the "Brain fog" side effect goes if it persists after awhile...I might look into another option. Its going to have to get my job bad...because I can't believe I haven't had any migraines in a while...

In other matters, I said I'd post some outfit pics but due to my icky mood I hadn't had the drive to. Here are some pics taken over the summer just to share a few. I'm hoping that this state will see some more warm summer like days.
